Our Carnival collection is one that is full of colour.
The collection reminds us of Marde Gras where lots of coloured bead necklaces are a traditional part of the festivities. The tradition of "throwing the beads" during every Mardi Gras dates back to the early 1800's, and no one is exactly sure what the original intention behind throwing beads was. What is known is that it is a type of goodwill gesture, displaying the free and giving nature of the New Orleans residents at the time.
